Hello friends. How is your week so far? I think this week is dragging a bit. It could be that it’s been snowing and gray which is typical for this time of year but I think it’s because we haven’t had many sunny days. I read somewhere that we typically get 190 to 200 hours of clear skies by this time but we’ve only gotten 30 hours!!! Well, at least it’s the perfect weather for these Whipped Cream Shaped Hearts for Hot Cocoa.
I used to make these for the kiddies when they were little and I wanted to revisited them.
Ingredients 1 cup of heavy cream food coloring (optional) Confectionery sugar to your liking (I used one tablespoon) Vanilla (optional)
Make sure the cream is cold and place in mixing bowl. Add other ingredients and mix on medium to high speed. It only takes a few minutes for the cream to create nice stiff peaks.
Pour cream mixture onto a shallow pan that has been line with parchment paper. Freeze for 1-2 hours Once frozen remove from pan and cut out any shape you would like, place in hot cocoa and enjoy!
Place in hot cocoa and enjoy!
I found these cute mugs at the Dollar Store aren’t they sweet?
That’s it for now. Thank you so much for stopping by. Please make sure you visit my friends’ yummy Valentine’s Dessert recipes below. Much love, Lucy
